Bring your own designs, or collaborate with Tri-Square founder David T. Young, who is well-known in the industry for innovative use of space and thoughtful, functional plans.  Listening carefully to your needs, our team will guide you step-by-step through concept design, floor plans, construction plans, and professional engineering design.

Uncommon Transparency

Your home is an investment, and you deserve to know the details.  While most builders provide an estimate, Tri-Square prepares a specific, detailed line-item quote for your project before we begin, pricing all the materials and locking in sub-contractor rates.  Enter the construction process with confidence, assured that Tri-Square will stand behind its fixed-price bid.

Undivided Attention

Many of our competitors require their project managers to supervise building while juggling permits, financial matters, complex supply orders, and bids for future jobs.  The Tri-Square approach is very different.  Our project managers, Ron Hall, Tony Hildreth, Coby Kuhn, and Doug Rohauer, are all construction veterans with at least 25 years’ experience.  One of these experts will be assigned specifically to your home, providing daily on-site leadership from start to finish, with no distractions.

Our Process

Initial Consultation

Contact Tri-Square online or by phone, so we can discuss your vision, timeline, and budget.  During this time we will explain our process and share relevant portfolio projects with you.

Rough Budget and Design Agreement

Based on designs you bring, or new designs created in collaboration with Tri-Square’s David Young, we provide a price range. If this rough budget is agreeable to you, we move to the design/build phase, pulling together floor plans, working drawings, engineering specs and final “permit-ready” plans. Clients submitting prepared plans may bypass some or all of this step.

Fixed Price Contract

Next, Tri-Square develops a highly detailed line-item estimate, incorporating every cost for completing your project, down to the last penny.  We are firmly committed to completing projects on budget, so this is a critical step in our process.

Pre-Construction

Our project coordinator will collaborate with you to make all the necessary selections (cabinets, tile, plumbing fixtures, countertops, pavers, etc.), ensuring the job will run smoothly and without delays.

Construction

Your assigned project manager will oversee every aspect of the work being performed at your home.  Tri-Square’s project managers are the best in the business, committed to the highest quality work and complete client satisfaction.
