David Young

As Founder of Tri-Square, David has seen the business grow steadily since it first opened its doors in 1984. His father was an architect and builder in Charlotte, North Carolina, and after graduating from Winthrop College, David began working in the industry as well. Tri-Square quickly became known in the Foxcroft, Myers Park and Eastover areas of Charlotte for high-end remodeling work, and over the years, David and his team have expanded their capabilities to offer design/build services and the construction of custom homes. David finds the design/build process very gratifying and fulfilling because he has the opportunity to turn his clients’ ideas and dreams into reality. He believes that Tri-Square has endured over the decades because of the quality of the work and of the project managers who share David’s vision for building things the right way, never cutting corners and using the best available products in every job. Now in retirement, David is an avid pickle ball player and spends much of his time boating on the waters in Florida where he now resides.
