Ed Rickenbaker

Ed grew up in the construction industry. His architect father exposed him to the industry at a young age. Ed spent high school and college summers working with builders in the Charlotte and Raleigh area. He graduated from North Carolina State University and went on to work for a homebuilder in Jackson, Wyoming, where he learned about the high-end market. Ed began his career with Tri-Square as a project manager in 1998. He ventured into his own spec home and remodeling business in 2007, and successfully completed many projects and built lasting relationships and contacts. After starting a family, the stress of self-employment was too much to handle, and Ed decided to return to Tri-Square. He currently serves as Operations Manager, helping the business grow and capitalizing on new opportunities. Ed says Tri-Square stands apart from the competition through the thoroughness of estimates, the high-quality craftsmanship, and the team’s combined years of experience. Among the many projects under his belt, Ed says he most enjoys a complete house remodel, because he can draw from the history of the structure while adding new and innovative elements. When he’s away from the job site, Ed enjoys spending time with his family, cars, wood working, fishing and cooking.
